Sherpa brings prompt-free AI rendering to SketchUp
Browser-based, works straight from the SketchUp viewport, and replaces the text box with controls. Worth watching whether removing the prompt makes results more repeatable.

Third annual survey. Adoption is up from 59% in 2025, but 59% of practices expect staff reductions and 61% think it will be harder for early-career architects to build judgement.

Black Forest Labs releases FLUX 3, its first video model
One model trained jointly across image, video, audio and action. Clips run to 20 seconds with synchronised sound. An open-weight FLUX 3 Dev is promised but undated.
Tip of the week
Caption fifty images before you train anything
Before you spend an afternoon on a LoRA, spend an hour writing captions. Fifty of your own renders, each described in one plain sentence — what the building is, what the light is doing, where the camera stands — will beat two hundred uncaptioned images every time. The model learns the words you use, so use the words you would use in a review.
